These five (5) cast member name badges were issued to Bruce Gordon, who made significant contributions to the Disney theme parks during his 25-year career as a Disney Imagineer. These items are from Bruce Gordon's estate.
Bruce joined WED Enterprises in 1980 and for 25 years contributed to the design and construction of numerous Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions. He was largely responsible for the development of Splash Mountain and the conversion of Disneyland's Submarine Voyage lagoon into today's Finding Nemo attraction. In addition, Bruce was co-author (with David Mumford) and publisher of four Disney books: Disneyland The Nickel Tour, Walt's Time, A Brush With Disney, and Ellenshaw Under Glass. At the time of his passing on 6 November 2007 he was working as the show producer for the Walt Disney Family Museum that opened in San Francisco, California on October 1, 2009.
