The Walt Disney Studios has created these character images using traditional animation techniques. The original animation drawings were transferred to an acetate cel by a special six-step xerographic process using two ink colors. Artists of The Walt Disney Studio Ink and Paint Department then enhanced each cel with 24 colors of hank-inked lines and hand painted each of the cels in the edition with 56 Disney-approved acrylic colors and 10 special effects colors.
Disney artists have specially created the background scene accompanying this cel. Its not a production background. However, original layouts and frames from the film were used a reference. Color Service has lithographically printed the background artwork on premium-quality, acid-free paper.
