ABOUT THE IMAGE: Artist Jim Salvati was brought on board for Harry Potter films three and four, where he was assigned to develop paintings in his unique style. Each piece in the series is adopted from conceptual sketches and film stills taken directly from the movie to create original oil background paintings.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Jim Salvati is an American painter of Contemporary Figurative Fine Art. He has worked in the film industry as a visual concept designer and Cinematic Artist. He is also in a select group of painters for Disney Fine Art.  He is primarily responsible for many of the finished paintings in the Harry Potter film series.
